Abstract

Fisterra's area offers us on the study of its population a few characteristics which compare it to other regions on Galician coast, for example the important increase in the 17th century, because of corn introduction, but, at the same time, we must denote many others aspects that confer it its own entity, such as the modesty of family groups and the important migratory current, on top of in the 18th century. Through this research work, we make known to you part of this reality on one area bereft of this kind of studies for modern age.
