La agricultura gallega en la crisis del Antiguo Régimen: tentativas modernizadoras

Abstract

It is shown in this article the attempts of modernization of Galician agriculture at the second half of XVIII century. Taking as a departing point the contemporany impresionist sources and relating them to the rural Galician history, it is tried to explain in what measure the illustrated reform program had a practical influence in the management of peasant farmers. Also the societies of agricultural promotion and their performance in different aspects from Galician agriculture are studied.
