Comercio y comerciantes en la Andalucía del Antiguo Régimen: estado de la cuestión y perspectivas

Abstract

The studies on the commerce and the mercantile bourgeoisie in the Andalucía of the Old Regime in the last forty years have happened through two different stages: first, on talks about he modernization and the capitalist development of Spain and Andalucía in relation to the countries of western Europe and the developed regions of the peninsular territory; second, by the autonomy of these studies with respect to the previous period preoccupations and assumption of classic analyzes in this type of works, as well as of more novel others, within a generalized geographic dispersion in both case it emphasizes the attraction exerted in the investigations by Western Andalucía. Finally, the article analyzes the existing lagoons in this area of knowledge and proposes some lines of investigation for the next years.
