Abstract
This article tries to examine the profile of the scholarship holders of the Pontifical College of La Sapiencia in Majorca during the 18th Century. After examining the life in the College, is examined with special attention the suppression of the College (1773-1777) by Juan Díaz de la Guerra, Bishop of Majorca.
