Abstract

This paper determines the elements that characterize the transformation of usual soundscape into a painful one in the Spanish city in Early Modern Age, with the objective of knowing which was the contribution of sounds to funeral pomps, which connotations involved and which colective mentality reflected, compared to typically festive sound resources
