Abstract
In this paper we are going to present a brief study on the morphological aspects of the medieval given names and surnames that appear ein the Corpus de Documentos Españoles anteriores a 1700 (CODEA). We will study three morphological features for forenames: initial capital letter, gender and number. Considering these three features, we will see the different processes of formation of gender and number which appear in these first and last names and check if these processes are similar to the ones taking place for the common names.
