El modelo francés de lucha contra el despilfarro de alimentos/the French model against food waste

Abstract

France has recently passed a package of legal measures addressed to fight against food waste. The French legislation stands out as being the first in Europe to address this issue, and so ambitiously, as it fights against food waste from different perspectives. This paper describes and critically analyzes the French legislation against food waste. It aims to provide the Spanish legislator and scholars with a model able to inspire the future Spanish legislation against food waste.
