El Sáhara Occidental en el marco del nuevo proyecto de regionalización avanzada marroquí

Abstract

This article analyzes the regionalization project launched by Mohamed VI in 2010 through a threefold approach. On the one hand, the article examines the Palace’s official view about regionalization through a discursive analysis, on the other hand it is analyzed the visions and proposals of the main Moroccan social and political forces about it, and finally the advanced regionalization system adopted. Also, the article examines the scope and changes that this new regional model proposes regarding the previous one, the references about regional system in the 2011 constitutional reform and the implications of new regional model in the Autonomy Plan for Western Sahara submitted by Moroccan state as solution to the conflict.
