LA TRANSFORMACIÓN DEL ESCENARIO INTERNACIONAL: CONTRADICCIONES Y PARADOJAS

Abstract

The transformation of the basic ideas and reference paradigms has been made most ostensible with regard to the restructuring of the international scene. Because of this, it is of vital importance to understand the new role that defence has had to play from the 90s onwards in order to grasp certain issues that are more important than it seems. This process is tightly linked to the changes in the international order after the end of the Soviet Union. This is linked as well to the new type of relationships established among the actors. These relationships affect the States as well as the new private actors emerging on this period.
