In this study the pollen production in three grapevine varieties (Treixadura, Godello and Loureira) and airborne pollen concentration of Vitis vinifera L. in a vineyard to the Ribeiro Designated of Origin (Ourense), was analyzed from 2007 to 2009. Besides aborted flowers rate was estimated in order to know the final yield of the crop. The average production of pollen per anther, flower and plant, has been higher in the variety Treixadura, followed Godello and Loureira. Airborne pollen concentration has been low throughout the study period. Regarding the aborted flowers rate was lower in 2010 in the three varieties which correspond with an increase in grape production in that year.
