Abstract

This article looks into the methodology employed by Julio Caro Baroja as a reflection of his own personality. The theoretical and methodological premises of his historical and anthropological work are outlined, taking his biography and his social and intellectual context as a starting point, as well as his influence on his research in the field of Protohistory and Ancient History.
