Abstract

Over the last decades the International Community has paid particular attention to the so-called commercial sexual exploitation of children. The severity and global impact of this phenomenon have led to the adoption of several international instruments on the prevention and punishment, as well as adequate protection of victims. The Spain international commitments and obligations under the European regulatory framework result in the need to adapt our legal-criminal to internationa land EU requirements, by proper definition of the various manifestations of the phenomenon. This paper provides an analysis of dogmatic jurisprudencecriminal justice protection of minors against sexual exploitation of children from the perspective of international and EU requirements.
