Abstract

The crime of human trafficking is a transnational criminal business that attacks the dignity and freedom of individuals who have the right to be treated as human beings, never as a mere object. Traffickingin human beings is the realization of cruel practices such as abuse and deception of vulnerable people; the use of violence, threats, coercionand debt bondage ending with both labor and sexual exploitation and the extraction of their body organs. Both for the commisive media and for the intented purpose, the crime of human trafficking is an “intentional crime of early consummation”, as it is consumed once typical actionis performed; regardless whether labor or sexual exploitation, or the extraction of organs has occurred.
