Abstract

The system of penalties for legal entities proposed by the Spanish penal legislator offers a larger number of inconsistencies and contradictions, the result of having carried out the design without havingdefined a purpose to be chasing him. This article defends his special preventive purpose and expose, first, some necessary legislative reforms and, second, an interpretation of the existing statute that allows for the effective implementation of economic crime prevention.
