This article is based on the study of experiences of change in the lifestyles of families who traveled paths of upward mobility from working class to middle class, residents of the Buenos Aires Metropolitan Area (2009-2010). The objective is to analyze the ruptures and continuities regarding the new spaces and practices of sociability, consumption and leisure that accompany changes in suchconditions. This process blurs behaviors and interests related to social origin, forming a new sense of class membership and setting social differentiation within the inter-biographical story.
