Abstract
Assimilation, multiculturalism, and interculturalism are three different ways to deal with multicultural conflicts. This essay firstly provides the theoretical statements of each of them. Secondly it studies how they have come into effect in Spain both with regard to sentences of courts of justice and with regard to media coverage of multicultural conflicts.
