The present study discusses the accuracy of the conceptual, theoretical and procedural dimensions of the patterns of exportation of democratic governance to the Maghreb region. In this way, it questions their bases. First, this reflection evidences the conceptual elasticity of the term "democratic governance". Secondly, it draws attention about the interpretative versatility of the implementation of democratic government Finally, it criticizes the viability of the mainstream theoretical premises on the mechanism that are expected to promote democratic materialization of governance in this region.
